Parents often feel uncertain when choosing a summer camp for their child. Adding to this uncertainty is the decision of whether to choose an English-language or Spanish-language camp.<\/p>\n

Bilingual summer camps must be designed for all students, from beginners to advanced levels, always grouping students by age or English proficiency to avoid frustration.<\/p>\n

The great thing about summer camp is that children learn naturally, without chores or homework, simply by playing and having fun. This more emotional way of teaching and learning has a very positive effect on youngsters.<\/p>\n

It is important to find out about the qualities of the camp, how many hours of English will be taught, whether the teachers are native speakers, whether English will be used all day to communicate or if the preference will be Spanish complemented with a few hours of daily activities in English for beginners.<\/p>\n

If our child is small, we recommend this second option so as not to cause too much of a shock on one of their first outings from home and to gradually get used to hearing another language.<\/p>\n

Our children's English camp is a wonderful way to give a boost to their learning and complements the academic training they receive during the school year.<\/p>\n

This way of introducing them to English will encourage them to take the leap in the following years to a language immersion program abroad and will give them tools to defend themselves in a future working world where English is the differentiating quality of the CV when it comes to being selected for a position suited to their interests.<\/p>\n
