MADBIRD FAIR EXPERIENCE 2016
On June 10, 2016, the third MadBirdFair meeting finally arrived, the first Nature Observation Fair held in Madrid, the capital of Spain.
Fairs, promotions, and meetings between nature enthusiasts and visitors, as well as companies and associations offering a wide range of ways to enjoy nature, are becoming increasingly common in our country. These events provide an opportunity to discover the natural spaces available in our region and experience ecotourism, a growing trend.
Our country is a paradise for enjoying nature thanks to its biodiversity and the variety of ecosystems it offers. Therefore, it is in an emerging position to promote ecotourism as a major source of sustainable benefit for Spain.
Exhibitors from all over Spain, companies and associations related to photography, optics and IT, nature tourism and ornithology, tour operators, publishers, artists, and eco-fashion designers, chose MadBirdFair as a showcase to the world. In addition to all this, there were conferences, presentations, activities, competitions, and meetings that promoted awareness and learning about the natural environment.
For our part, The Real Birdwatching TRB participates in these types of events and fairs whenever possible. It provides us with a platform to offer our travel packages and photography services to both Spanish and international tourists.
What we love most about a fair like MadBird is the wonderful atmosphere, the spirit of collaboration between organizations, the relationships that are formed, the interesting exchanges, and the learning that takes place among participants. All of this is enveloped in a halo of laughter, good humor, and a desire to have a good time; the Paseo del Prado becomes a kind of nature festival right in the heart of Madrid.
A special meeting between Spanish and foreign tour operators, who are increasingly choosing us to organize nature trips for their clients, as they are very interested in our natural areas. Norwegians, Germans, Americans, and British come every year seeking out our trips, which yield such interesting results thanks to the bird species they encounter, the beauty of our lands, our pleasant climate, and excellent cuisine; all accompanied, of course, by the friendliness and helpfulness of the Spanish people!
